Complete illustrated Installation instructions for the Slim-Line 100 (Click here for detailed instructions).
Find a location for your new Slim-Line that will best serve your ironing needs. Make sure that there is plenty of room for the ironing board to come down when the door is open. Allow a minimum of 30 inches horizontally for your unit (762mm).
The current Slim-Line 100 door slides open only to the left. Future models will slide to the right and left. However the present unit slides only to the left of the cabinet. When installing the unit, the door will need at least 15 inches (381mm) of clear space to open. Make sure that the location is free of electrical and mechanical services.
The Slim-Line ironing board is designed to be either installed between two typical 16” (406.40mm) on center studs, or to straddle one stud.
Using the template provided in the pdf download (link), mark the four points where the drywall anchors will be inserted. Now, install the four drywall anchor bolts.
It is recommended that you have someone assist you with this step.
Carefully lift your unit into place and align the screws with the openings in the drywall anchors. Tighten each screw into the drywall anchor until the unit is snug against the wall.
You are now ready to enjoy your Slim-Line ironing board.
